Fubo has always been proud of working on many different gadgets—things like streaming players, and smart TVs.
Among these, Samsung smart TVs made since 2015 were able to use the Fubo app.
But now it seems like Fubo has made a change.
Starting this month, new users who want to use Fubo on their Samsung smart TVs won’t be able to. The Fubo app is no longer available for these new customers.
This change happened on August 4, 2023.
However, if you already had the Fubo app on your Samsung Smart TV before August 4, 2023, Fubo says that your app will still work and you’ll continue to get updates.
On the help center page, Fubo said:
“The Fubo app on Samsung Smart TVs will no longer be available for new customers as of August 4, 2023. For current customers that installed the Fubo app on their Samsung Smart TV on or before August 4, 2023, the app will remain available and will continue to receive updates as long as it is installed.”
While new users might need to find a different way to watch Fubo, if you’re already using it on your Samsung TV, things will stay the same for you.
