Max, the streaming service that’s become a familiar name, is about to bring the news to your screens like never before.
Starting from September 27th, a brand-new addition called “CNN Max” will beam live news straight to your devices, all day, every day.
According to this announcement,
“CNN Max will leverage CNN’s reporting excellence, global newsgathering, and live programming from CNN US, CNN International, and feature original programming built specifically for Max.”
You might remember that Warner Bros. Discovery had tried something similar before with CNN Plus. But this time, they’ve cooked up a better plan.
They’re teaming up with CNN, the well-known news giant, to enhance the news experience on Max with a 24/7 news channel.
CNN Max isn’t just the same old TV news.
CNN Max is also cooking up fresh stuff, just for Max.
Remember those cool shows on Max? The ones you binge-watch? They’re not going anywhere.
In fact, they’re getting a new home. The place you used to find them, the CNN Originals hub, is turning into CNN Max. You can still catch all your favorite shows and a whole bunch of new stuff too.
Warner Bros. Discovery is excited about this new adventure.
JB Perrette, Warner Bros. Discovery’s CEO and president of global streaming and games, said in today’s press release:
“We’re excited to engage our Max community in this initial beta stage to help us learn and develop what appeals most to our customers in this new genre,”
It’s clear that Max is stepping up its game.
They know we want more than just shows and movies, and they’re delivering.
However, only time will say how well CNN Max resonates with audiences and becomes a staple source of information alongside entertainment on the Max platform
