DIRECTV & DIRECTV STREAM Launching a New and Improved User Interface Today

DIRECTV is giving its interface a fresh new look, and it’s happening today. This makeover will keep getting better until early 2024.

Starting on September 13, 2023 (today), DIRECTV will introduce some exciting new features, as confirmed by Cordcutternews.

They’ve added a sleek menu on the left side, a cool homepage with rows of apps, and quick shortcuts to your favorite shows. They want to make it really easy for you to find your favorite shows, news, movies, and sports, whether they’re on DIRECTV or another service.

All DIRECTV customers with the latest devices can enjoy these changes.

If you’re already a customer or planning to become one, you can get these devices in early October. There are also more improvements coming at the end of this year and early next year.

In DIRECTV’s own words,

“This is part of our focus on reinvesting in a more content-forward user experience, making it easier and faster to get customers to their favorite shows, news, movies, and sports, whether they’re available directly from DIRECTV or through a 3rd party platform.”

However, here’s the catch: you’ll have to wait for DIRECTV to update your device to enjoy these new features.

Unfortunately, there’s no specific date yet for when customers on DIRECTV STREAM using Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Google TV, and more can expect these updates.
